1. Be Respectful
Readers may disagree about stories, characters, artwork, or interpretations. Discuss those differences without attacking other people.
Comments may not include:
- Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
- Threats or encouragement of violence
- Hate speech or degrading remarks based on protected or personal characteristics
- Targeted hostility toward creators, artists, readers, or other individuals
- Repeated unwanted contact or disruption
Criticism of the work is permitted. Abuse directed at the people involved is not.
2. Keep Comments Appropriate for the Public Website
Comments must remain suitable for the public Olympus Art Comics website.
Do not post:
- Pornographic or explicitly sexual descriptions
- Graphic sexual remarks about characters, creators, or readers
- Sexual content involving minors
- Graphic descriptions of real-world violence or abuse
- Material intended primarily to shock, disturb, or provoke others
Readers may respectfully discuss mature subjects appearing in a story, provided the discussion remains relevant and non-explicit.
3. Avoid Unmarked Spoilers
When discussing events beyond the part being viewed, clearly identify the comment as containing spoilers before revealing important story information. Deliberately posting major spoilers to disrupt another reader’s experience may result in removal.
4. Protect Personal Information
Do not publish private or identifying information about yourself or anyone else, including home addresses, personal telephone numbers, private email addresses, financial or account information, passwords, verification codes, private conversations, or information that could expose someone’s identity or location without permission.
Impersonating another person, creator, company, or Olympus Art Comics representative is prohibited.
5. No Spam or Manipulation
Comments may not be used for repetitive or irrelevant posting, unsolicited advertising, fraudulent offers, deceptive links, automated or bulk-generated comments, malware, phishing, harmful downloads, artificial engagement, or evading moderation through alternate identities.
Relevant links may be permitted when they genuinely contribute to the discussion.
6. Respect Creative Work
Do not use the comment section to distribute unauthorized copies of comics, subscriber-only material, leaked content, or other material that infringes intellectual-property rights.
Short references and ordinary discussion of published material are welcome. Ownership concerns may be submitted through the Contact Us form.
7. Comment Approval and Identity
A display name and valid private email address are required to comment. Email addresses are not displayed publicly.
A reader’s first comment is held for owner approval. Once approved, later comments made through the same secured commenter identity and email may appear without advance review.
Changing email addresses creates a separate commenter identity and may require another approval. Attempting to use another person’s email or identity is prohibited. Approval does not guarantee that every future comment will remain published.
8. Reporting Comments
Readers may report comments that appear to violate these guidelines. Reports should identify the concern honestly and should not be used merely because of disagreement. Knowingly false, repetitive, or retaliatory reports may be treated as misuse of the website.
9. Moderation
Olympus Art Comics may review, approve, hide, or permanently remove comments. A commenter may also be blocked from further participation.
Moderation may occur when content violates these guidelines, disrupts discussion, creates a safety or privacy concern, appears fraudulent or automated, creates unnecessary legal risk, or is otherwise inappropriate for the website or its community.
Moderation decisions consider context. Not every disagreement or unpopular opinion violates these guidelines.
10. Enforcement
Olympus Art Comics may hold a comment for review, remove or hide it, warn or restrict a commenter, block an email identity, remove related comments, or refer credible threats or suspected unlawful conduct to the appropriate service provider or authorities.
Serious violations may result in immediate removal or blocking without a prior warning.
11. Changes to These Guidelines
These guidelines may be revised as Olympus Art Comics, its catalog, and its reader community grow. The current version and revision date will remain available here.
